wwwAC Awards - Honouring Canadian digital talent!
Get recognized by submitting your work. wwwAC has awards for a variety of categories such as innovation, UX/UI, programming, digital content, promotions/marketing and accessibility. Projects are judged by wwwAC’s board members. Quarterly awards are given in each category in March, June, September and December. Winners in each category are automatically entered into the annual award reviews which are celebrated at the prestigious wwwAC awards gala in May.
Innovation
The innovation award recognizes digital projects that exemplify exceptional work. It is given to digital projects that combine the best in user experience, design, strategic execution, and technical superiority.
UX/UI
The UX/UI award recognizes cutting edge digital design work. The winning projects employ the latest in UI best practices and have been crafted to artfully grab the user’s attention and guide them through the experience.
Programming
The programming award recognizes the superior programming work done on digital projects. It is presented to programming teams that demonstrate a systematic approach, adherence to standards and superior technical acuity.
Promotion
The promotion award celebrates innovative approaches to driving traffic. It is given to projects that show strategic approaches to digital promotion.
Content
The digital content award recognizes exceptionally well-executed content for digital projects. Content teams that demonstrate exceptionally well crafted copy and calls-to-action will be celebrated with this award.
Accessibility
The digital accessibility award recognizes digital work that is built to ensure maximum inclusivity. It is awarded to projects that employ accessibility best practices to ensure that all users can enjoy digital solutions.
Eligibility
wwwAC members have shown their commitment to producing superior work and sharing best practices with the community; therefore, only wwwAC members are eligible to submit work for an award. Members are eligible to submit work to each and every category. One project will be awarded under each category, each quarter (March, June, September and December). Winners in each category are automatically entered into the annual award reviews which are celebrated at the prestigious wwwAC awards gala in May.
Winners are announced on the wwwAC site, on our social media channels and through press releases. Winners will also have special status on our members directory so colleagues and clients can see their achievements.
